Ms. Melinda's Dance Studio is an award winning dance studio in the St. Cloud area. Ms Melinda's is a place for students and families to establish long lasting relationships on and off the dance floor. We strive to improve dance ability, self confidence and leadership skills in a clean, safe and professional environment. At Ms. Melinda's, we aspire to share our passion and joy, where "dreams begin with a dance."
Melinda is the founder, owner and CEO of Ms. Melinda's Dance Studio. She has over thirty years of experience in all areas of dance, including 25 years as an instructor for all ages and abilities. She also spent multiple years as a professional NFL cheerleader, dancer and choreographer. Melinda graduated from St. Cloud State University with a B.S. in Education. Melinda has won multiple choreography and performance awards throughout the years. She is also a community leader, serving on the Paramount board of directors, the Holly Ball planning committee and volunteering for the Women's Fund.
Rebecca has been teaching dance for over 10 years and is in her eighth season with Ms. Melinda's. She has won multiple choreography awards in the styles of tap, jazz and lyrical. Rebecca graduated from the College of Saint Benedict in 2012. While at college, she performed on the St. Ben's Dance Team, coached the St. John's Prep School Dance Team and choreographed four musicals. During the day, Rebecca is a full time Business Development Manager for a non-profit in St. Cloud and serves on the St. Ben's Board of Alumnae.
Kelsey is a Ms. Melinda's alumna who is going into her sixth year of teaching. She is currently a student at St. Cloud State University, pursuing a degree in nursing. Kelsey always encourages her students to strive for their personal best and is looking forward to working with them this season. She teaches all ages, from Tiny Tots to high school competitive teams, in the styles of tap, jazz, ballet and lyrical. If she's not dancing, Kelsey is working at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Marah has a bachelor’s degree in child and family studies from St. Cloud State University. Marah has been dancing since she was 3 years old and loves every minute of it. She loves encouraging students to be the best they can be. Outside of the studio you can find her crafting, shopping, camping, spending time with her family or cheering for the MN Wild or SCSU Huskie Hockey team- Hockey is her second favorite sport right behind dance!

Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Apparel & Textiles from North Dakota State University. In addition to the many dance certifications she is also barre certified. She danced and acted professionally in NYC, her favorite roles include My Evening with Marilyn (Marilyn), A Midsummer Nights Dream (Titania , Fairy), The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Dancer) and Big Christmas (Dancer). She has a hands on approach to teaching and loves to see “the moment” each dancer has when things click. Outside of the studio you can find her running, teaching barre classes and chasing after her two little boys, Henry and Frankie.
Molly has been a dance teacher for six years and this is her second year on Ms. Melinda's staff. She lives in Sartell with her husband and kids. Molly has taught Kindergarten for seven years and is currently at Pine Meadow in Sartell. Her Elementary Education degree is from Concordia College in Moorhead. Molly has been trained in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, musical theater and lyrical. She has also lead youth theater dance camps and has choreographed multiple high school musicals. Outside of teaching, she enjoys photography, music and theater, and spending time with her family.
Jerome is a senior at St. Cloud State University studying Bio-Medical Sciences, with plans to go to medical school. He is trained in hip hop and continues to learn by watching new tends and following some of the best hip hop dancers in the industry. This is Jerome's third year teaching at Ms. Melinda's Dance Studio and he is as eager to learn, as he is to instruct.
Haley has been leading the Acrobatic Dance program at Ms. Melinda's for four years now. She is a second year student at the College of Saint Benedict and plans to major in Accounting-Finance with a minor in Communication. Haley was in gymnastics for 16 years, 13 of which were competitive. She qualified for the Minnesota State gymnastics meet with her team three times, and individually on floor exercise for a total of four times. Haley loves getting to meet young dancers and teach them new tricks to utilize in their dances! She also enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Aubree is in her second year as an acrobatic dance instructor at Ms. Melinda's. She was in gymnastics for 12 years, and her high school team made it to the state tournament three times. Aubree is in her second year at the College of Saint Benedict and plans to major in biology for pre physical therapy. Her hobbies include spending time with my family and friends and swimming, tubing, and wake boarding in the summer.

Gretchen has her Masters Degree in social work from St. Cloud State University and is currently working for the Central Minnesota Mental Heath Center. She is trained in tap, ballet, jazz, modern and contemporary. She has won several choreography awards and loves spreading her love of dance to all the talented and hardworking students she meets. Outside the studio you can find her spoiling her yorkie pup named Oscar or watching musicals.
Khalif is a dancer/performer/entertainer from Los Angeles, California. He began his career as an artist at the age of 11 when he began training in Cirque School as an acrobatic contortionist and an aerialist. It wasn't until high school that he began training technically and broadening his horizons and become a versatile dancer. He trained in Ballet, Modern, Contemporary/Lyrical, Musical Theater, Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop. He recently trained at the Ailey School in New York City, where he also worked as Lola's understudy in the Broadway Production of Kinky Boots. He is a Spotlight Semi-finalist who also had the pleasure of working The Music Center for the Blue Ribbon's Children's Festival. He was a dancer featured in a video they used to teach over 18,000 kids and he also made a guest appearance to 4 of the shows. He is a very bubbly, fun, creative, and outgoing person and teacher. He loves to let students express themselves through their movement. His favorite quote to live by is "if you're early, you're on time. If you're on ti+me, you're late. If you're late, You're Fired!"
Megan is freshman at St. Cloud State. She was a competitive dancer at Ms. Melinda's and in her third year teaching. Megan loves to dance wherever she is and loves sharing her passion with others.
Olivia has been dancing at Ms. Melinda's Dance Studio for ten years, and this is her fifth year on the teaching staff. She dances on the Show Stars competitive line and does a lyrical solo. Olivia is currently a senior at Sartell High School and is on the dance team there. During her free time, Olivia likes to play with her dogs.
Anna has been dancing at Ms. Melinda's for eight years, and this is her third year on the teaching staff. She dances on the Dream Team competitive line and does a lyrical solo. She is currently a senior at Sauk Rapids High School and also enjoys running, hiking and art. Anna loves teaching at Ms. Melinda's and wouldn't trade her teaching moments for the world.

Kirsten is working towards a degree in Business Management and Accounting at St. Cloud Technical College. She loves teaching so she can share her love of dance with others. She hopes each kid she meets always feels welcome to be themselves and shine in their own special way. Outside of dance you can find her working security for the area’s many music festivals and hanging out with her two dogs, Diamond and Polar and cat, Alvyaor Lulu.
Ella is in her second year as a teaching assistant at Ms. Melinda's Dance Studio, but has been dancing at the studio for eleven years. She dances on the Show Stars competitive line. Ella is currently in 10th grade at Sartell High School. She is excited to assist and share her love of dance with younger students.

Sami is currently an 8th grader at Sauk Rapids. and is an assistant teacher. She has served on the student council for 5 years where she was awarded the Leadership Award, loves art and history. She loves building relationships with her students and hopes to teach them all to believe in themselves and never give up on their dreams.

Adele is a sophomore at Saint Cloud State University working towards a degree in Psychology with a minor in Occupational Therapy. She won the Ballet Dancer of the Year award at Studio 4 and was voted Most Dedicated Dancer two years running by her teammates on the St. Cloud State Dance Team. Adele was also an Olympic weightlifter on Team Minnesota for 4 years. Her love lies within her students and watching them grow in their abilities.

Maya is currently a senior at Tech High School. Maya loves to perform for her family and friends especially at the year end recital. She loves watching kids be creative and have fun in class.
